By the time a bag or a wallet reaches a shop shelf it has usually passed through a distributor, a wholesaler and a retailer, each adding a margin. The product is a fraction of what you pay. The rest was the journey.
Mulyium — mūlyam, the Malayalam word for value — exists to shorten that journey. We source bags, wallets, belts and briefcases from manufacturers we trust, check every piece before it ships, and sell them to you directly at the best price we can. That is the whole idea.

Four steps, none of them clever. Doing the ordinary things properly is what keeps quality up and prices down.

Chosen from manufacturers we trust
We do not run a factory. We pick bags, wallets and belts from established manufacturers, most of them machine-made on proper production lines, and we only list a style once we have handled a sample ourselves.

Material stated plainly
Every product page says what it is made of: genuine leather, PU leather, canvas or fabric. If it is synthetic, the page says synthetic. Nothing is dressed up as something it is not.

Checked before it ships
Before an order is packed, the piece is looked over: stitching, zips, buckles, straps and finish. Anything that does not pass is set aside rather than sent out and left for you to find.

Priced without the markup
Selling online and direct means no showroom rent and no chain of distributors each adding a margin. What we save goes into the price you pay.

We do not make these by hand.
Most of what we sell is machine-made. Machine production is what keeps stitching even and prices sensible. What we add is the choosing and the checking, not a story about a craftsman.
Not everything is genuine leather.
A lot of our range is PU (synthetic) leather, canvas or fabric, because that is what makes a good-looking bag affordable. The material is listed on every product, so you always know which one you are buying.
Stock moves quickly.
Popular styles sell out, and some do not come back in exactly the same colour. If something you want is out of stock, ask us — we will tell you honestly whether it is returning.
Screens are not perfect.
We photograph the real products, but colours can look slightly different on your screen than in your hands. If what arrives is not what you expected, the 3-day return window is there for exactly that.
What buying from us actually gets you
Three days to change your mind
You cannot tell whether a bag suits you from a photograph, so any unused piece goes back within three days of delivery for a full refund. If it is faulty or wrong, we pay the postage both ways.
Coupons that do not expire
If we send you a discount code it stays valid. A code that quietly dies in ten days is a deadline dressed up as a gift.
